Members of the Intentional Community Consortium (ICC) spoke with reporters on Parliament Hill about the importance of the National Housing Strategy and the need to increase the supportive housing supply for individuals with developmental disabilities. Participating in the news conference were Ann Bilodeau, Director of KW Habilitation and Chair of the Provincial Network on Developmental Services Human Resources Committee, and Lino Fera, Director of the Cribwolf Foundation. Reena is immensely proud of Joel and Ingo, two Reena-supported individuals who spoke to a packed reception with Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries and members from all Parties
The ICC brought together agencies that provide services to those with developmental disabilities. ICC members are took part in a day-long event on Parliament Hill that included meeting with MPs and representatives from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
