British Columbia
Community Living Research Project – School of Social Work and Family Studies – University of British Columbia
The research project has completed literature reviews in four topic areas including services for seniors with a developmental disability. The services for seniors literature review discusses a wide range of issues related to aging and access to the developmental services and seniors service systems. The paper cites research in several other countries as well as work of the Ontario Partnership on Aging and Developmental Disabilities and the Huron Trillium Partnership.

Nova Scotia Centre on Aging at Mount Saint Vincent University
The Nova Scotia Centre on Aging was established in April 1992 with a three-part mandate of research, education, and community consultation in age-related issues. One of its current projects is Retirement Planning for Older Adults with Developmental Disabilities which involves cross sector representation.

The Next Stages Retirement Planning for Older Adults with a Developmental Disability
The Next Stages Retirement Planning for Older Adults with a Developmental Disability Project, has the primary goal of developing linkages between the disability and aging sectors in Nova Scotia. The purpose is to promote social inclusion in retirement for the population of persons aging with a developmental disability.
